This is a nice listen for all the City-pop enjoyers. Much of the track is filled with an upbeat funk with meledies similar to those in 80s J-pop.

Not the biggest K-Pop guy, but when I heard Super Shy on a NL fancam I was immediately interested. If your looking for some feel good love songs, this is a decent pick.

Not bad, but not something I find myself coming back to a lot. Looking forward to the upcoming album.

Just a nice early 90s album. Variety of soft and heavy guitars throughout the album.

Theres a couple songs I particularly like, but mostly just like the vibes. Nice when you want a smoothing but busy track to drive to.

Three Cheers to Sweet Revenge - My Chemical Romance

Three Cheers to Sweet Revenge - My Chemical Romance

Sub-Genre: Alternative, Pop-Punk, 2000s

Rating: 9/10

This album stands out among others of its time with its threatic sound and lyrics, with the close comparison I could think in these regards being American Idiot by Green Day. Similarly to American Idiot, I had previously only heard a few select songs from the album that got on the radio back in my day. Its an album that satisfies the persisting angst that wallows inside a crevice deep in my mind I had once tried to leave behind for good, but we can never really leave these thing for good.

Keep Them Confused - No Use for a Name

Sub-Genre: Alternative, Punk, 2000s

Rating: 7/10

Even as my taste in music as changed, I still have a fondness to for the works of Tony Sly, and this album was no exception. It embodies much of the sound found in the 2000s alternative with influence from the punk pop scene that was ever prensent at that time. The album is in many ways a relection on the political environment at the time, with Bullets and It's Tragic making references to the rising fear within American society. Sly also relfection on his own life, most notibly in For Fiona which decribes his feelings on aging as the father of a daughter.

Sub-Genre: J-Jazz, Jazz Fusion

Rating: 8/10

This album always seems to have somethings for your ears to focus in on. Some track sound like their straight out of Mario Kart with their fast tempo and constantly changing lead instrument, but there are also slower, more elegant tracks that still contain a busy atmosphere. A lot of times, you just don't know where a song will take you next, and I love it for that.

Sub-Genre: J-Jazz, Electronic

Rating: 7/10

If you liked the soundtrack of Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind, you'd probably like this album. The album combines a variety of familiar instuments with the otherworldly sounds from the synth. It is classical/jazz music with bubbly twist.
